CLASSIC MINI – Union Jack

Our Mini art works spent their lives driving the streets of the UK until they became too rusty and unsafe to put back on the road.  First launched in 1959, the Mini was an instant iconic car which were in production until the turn of the century, that’s over 40 years and in that time, over 5.3 million were built.

We buy the cars usually as running vehicles and once stripped, we cut out the rust, weald in new panels, paint them to the ordered colour, cut them and finally wrap them in the Union Jack.  All the lights work with LED’s using a standard home/office power source.

A steel bar is built into the roof for hanging at any height and the final weight is around 100kgs.
