Hello my name is Troy Carlton and I have created this oil painting while listening to the music of Opeth- Damnation.. Unlike what the album title may suggest this record is very relaxed and subdued. It creates a calm relaxing yet complex feeling in the listener.. It was through abstraction and monochromatic color selection that I tried to recreate this feeling. I hope you enjoy it..
