This is the story of a kid who loves comic books, his cartoonists Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, a kid spending hours reading and looking at the characters of the inevitable Hermann, Greg, Tardi, Hergé, Uderzo. The story of a rebellious teenager during which a fan reproduced vinyl bags and gimmicks of the rock giants. The story of a first job and the opportunity to mount different art exhibitions opening the first doors toward the art world. The story of a professional burnout, someone working a lot, too much, under constant pressure, more in tune with his values. The story of a renaissance, of a work on oneself, of the rediscovery of one's vanished values, of a buried passion. The story of several meetings, a return to drawing, a newfound confidence. The story of a pencil turned to chalk, a white sheet turned black, a leaf on which shadows and lights play their opposite. C’est l’histoire d’un gamin fan de BD, Comics, ses dessinateurs Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, un gamin représentant des heures durant les personnages des incontournables Hermann, Greg, Tardi, Hergé, Uderzo. L’histoire d’une adolescence rebelle pendant laquelle un fan reproduisait pochettes vinyles et gimmicks des géants du rock. L’histoire d’un premier job et l’opportunité de monter différentes expositions artistiques ouvrant les premières portes. L’histoire d’un burnout professionnel, de quelqu’un travaillant beaucoup, trop, sous pression constante, plus en phase avec ses valeurs. L’histoire d’une renaissance, d’un travail sur soi, de la redécouverte de ses valeurs disparues, d’une passion enfouie. L’histoire de plusieurs rencontres, d’un retour au dessin, d’une confiance retrouvée. L'histoire d’un crayon devenu craie, d’une feuille blanche devenue noire, une feuille sur laquelle ombres et lumières jouent de leur contraire.
